Winter Mulled wine spices kit box with strainer

Recommended recipe:

• 12 cardamom pods

• 10 cloves

• 1 star anise

• 1 cinnamon stick

• 8 allspice berries

• 1 tablespoon of orange peel

• 60 g brown sugar

• 1 bottle of red wine

Instructions:

• Gently heat the red wine in a saucepan (do not boil).

• Place the spices into the infuser or a cotton spice bag and add to the wine.

• Allow to infuse for approximately 15 minutes.

• Remove the spices and sweeten with sugar or a splash of orange juice if desired.

• Sit back, relax, and enjoy the comforting aroma and flavour.

This recipe is a guideline only - adjust the quantities to suit your taste. The spice kit can be used to make up to 3 litres of mulled wine, depending on how strong you like the flavour.
